B minor
Finger position: Now this is a barre chord. This chord and the bar chord B Major are very similar. Now again hold the barre by placing your index finger on the first five strings of the third fret. Then place your middle finger on the B (second) strings’ third fret. Then place your ring finger on the D (forth) strings’ forth fret. Then place your pinky on the G (third) strings’ forth fret. This is the position for the B minor chord. Now then, if you are playing barr chords for the first time, I guarantee there is no sound coming from your guitar. It’s really common. But, do not worry as you practice you’ll be play it smoothly.
Note: The best way to practice any chords is to hold the chord position and play every string individually and make sure that all of them sound smooth. And to practice the movement of the chord play one chord after the other and again make sure that all strings sound smooth. Eventually you’ll get the hang of it. Be patient.
